The iconic Mabula Game Lodge has undergone a plush transformation to become a luxurious, contemporary African bush escape.
In line with this transformation, the new look of the lodge’s 160 seater buffet Restaurant has just been unveiled.
Boasting a luxe, layered and textured ‘modern Afrique’ ambiance, the restaurant’s striking upgrade brings it up-to-date with the elegant and stylish makeover of the rest of the lodge. Tones of copper, elephant and stone blend beautifully across the magnificent light fittings, sumptuous soft furnishings, new flooring and other features and fittings. Cosy purpose-built pods provide comfortable and intimate seating for families, while luxurious upholstered dining room chairs invite guests to linger over their meals.
Cindy Sheedy-Walker, CEO of sales and marketing for the Extraordinary Group, which owns Mabula says that she is delighted with the remodelling. “Over the past two years, Mabula has undergone its slow but beautiful transformation, which has gradually repositioned the lodge at a more luxurious level. Everything from the lodge’s entrance, to the reception, lounge, rooms, boma, pool area, outdoor terrace area, curio store, spa, conservation and reserve projects have been given a magical restyling and the result is nothing short of miraculous.
