…and so our incredible team has begun!
We’re three weeks into the renovations and, as we know, a project is never without its challenges…
With a heat wave in excess of 44 degrees Celsius (111 Fahrenheit), wild dogs deciding that The Motse is the place to be, and beautiful rains yesterday, our amazing Tswalu family is hard at work – with the occasional pool plunge and “eggs à la Land Rover” being the order of the day!
We had to take a well-deserved rest (or should I say we ran away as fast as we could!) when the dogs decided it was a lot cooler inside The Motse than outside…and then the rains came!
As the “new beginnings” continue, the refreshment to both architecture and interiors will ensure that we maintain our sense of casual elegance as we move from what we currently know and love…
…to something that will capture the hearts of those who visit the southern Kalahari.
