10-2019-Tintswalo Lodges South Africa Tourism Levy

Dear Travel Partner,

Tintswalo Atlantic and Tintswalo Safari Lodge have registered with Tourism Levy South Africa (TOMSA), which plays a valuable role in contributing to the promotion of South Africa as a preferred travel and tourism destination, both locally and internationally.

As of the 1st of November 2019, all new reservations made at Tintswalo Atlantic and Tintswalo Safari Lodge will be charged a 1% TOMSA levy on the accommodation portion of the reservation.  For any bookings made and traveling within the month of November 2019, the 1% will be added to the extras bill of the invoice.  From the 1st of December 2019, our new rate season, the 1% will be included in the accommodation portion.  This means that there will be an adjustment to the 2020 rates, and you will be receiving updated rate sheets within the next couple of days.  This 1% tourism levy will not affect any existing provisional or confirmed reservations.
