The region of Knysna and George, has been affected by intense winds and fires on 29 October 2018, as you may be well aware of already, through the local news.Fortunately Head over Hills was not affected by the fires, however, the intense winds have caused considerable structural damage, which requires immediate attention, and hence the decision to close until such time that we have repaired the damages. The current estimated re-opening date is 15th December 2018, but this is still to be confirmed.
Rest assured that the reservations teams at Head over Hills are in the process of contacting all immediate and pending reservations that will be affected by the closure, to discuss alternative accommodation options for guests that will be affected during the period of closure.
