Now Open

JAO & KING’S POOL

We are thrilled to have officially reopened two favourite premier camps in Botswana: Jao and King’s Pool. Set in two uniquely distinct areas of Botswana, these camps are an exceptional complement of contrasts – from the wondrous essence of the Okavango Delta to a wildlife-rich Linyanti Odyssey.

Remaining deeply committed to driving sustainable ecotourism, both camps are 100% solar powered and offer our guests the perfect opportunity to not only experience a life-changing journey, but one that gives back to the conservation of Botswana’s diverse array of wildlife at the same time.

A Roaring Busanga Season

Writer and photographer Anton Kruger visited Shumba early on in the season: “I can readily confirm that it continues to rank as one of the best places in Africa, not only to view lions, but also photograph them. With open floodplains, numerous water channels and early morning mist, the backdrop sets the scene for an incredible spectacle”…

Conserving our Desert-Adapted Wildlife at Hoanib

Hoanib Skeleton Coast is more than just a camp. Not only does it offer our guests a life-changing experience in Namibia’s remote Kaokoveld and Skeleton Coast, but at the same time the camp serves as a hub for research and conservation of many of the remarkable species – including lion, elephant and brown hyaena – that call this challenging environment home.
