Following negotiations between Ministers of Home Affairs in the Kingdom of Eswatini and the Republic of South Africa, an agreement was reached to reopen the six (6) remaining land ports of entry/exit between the Kingdom of Eswatini and the Republic of South Africa as of 1st August 2022

These ports of entry reopening:
• Sicunusa/ Houtkop/ Emahlantini
• Gege/ Bothashoop
• Bulembu/ Josefsdal
• Sandlane/ Nerston
• Nsalitje/ Onverwacht
• Lundzi/ Waverley

 

1. TRAVELERS ENTERING AND EXITING THE KINGDOM OF ESWATINI MUST PRODUCE EITHER OF THE FOLLOWING, UPON ARRIVAL AT THE POINTS OF ENTRY:
• A valid COVID-19 vaccination certificate (hard or electronic) and MUST BE FULLY VACCINATED.
o OR
• A valid negative COVID-19 PCR test result (hard or electronic) that is not older than 75 hours, for the unvaccinated.
• Order Border posts operating from South Africa:
o Ngwenya / Oshoek
o Matsamo / Jeppes Reef
o Mananga
o Lavumisa / Golela
o Mahamba
• Border post from Mozambique:
o Lomahasha / Namaacha
o Mhlumeni/ Goba
• Airport:
o King Mswati 111 International Airport
• All travelers entering the Kingdom of Eswatini will be screened at the Points of Entry for the following:
o Symptoms of COVID-19
o Temperature checks
o Health declaration form
• Travelers may be required to undergo a quarantine not exceeding 14day or isolation as by the Port Health Officers.
