Industry News: Termination of Unabridged Birth Certificates gives SA tourism a boost

Exciting news: The end of the Unabridged Birth Certificate (UBC) is in clear sight. Derailing South Africa’s inbound tourism since 2015 the termination of the UBC has been a welcome reprieve for travellers as well for South Africa’s tourism sector.

As per a new travel advisory circulated in early November, international minors travelling to South Africa with their parents will now only need a valid passport to enter the country with the previously required Unabridged Birth Certificate in the process of being waived.
