Alitalia staff have announced a 24-hour strike on 21 May that will include members of all four trade unions representing the airline’s 11,000-member workforce.
Travellers are advised to monitor their flight details and allow extra time for check-in and security checks as ground services could also be impacted by this strike.
Over 100 flights have been delayed or cancelled at Moscow’s airports as of Monday morning following the deadly plane fire at Moscow’s Sheremetyevo Airport on Sunday evening.
At least 81 flights were affected at Sheremetyevo Airport while Domodedovo and Vnukovo Airports also reported delayed and cancelled flights.
