AUSTRIAN AIRLINES
Austrian Airlines will increase flights between Vienna and Cape Town over the Christmas and New Year period with a third weekly flight scheduled between 25 December – 07 January and 23 January – 18 February 2020.

AIR FRANCE
Air France has resumed operations on the Cape Town-Paris route after its subsidiary, Joon, was absorbed into the parent company on 28 June.
This European summer, Air France and KLM are adding a number of new destinations that will be attractive to South African travellers – Air France will operate flights to Herakalion, Split, Belgrade and Dallas while KLM will operate flights to Naples, Wroclaw and Las Vegas, in addition to Boston.

BRITISH AIRWAYS
British Airways will increase its winter services between Scotland and Heathrow from 27 October to March next year with three more weekly flights to Edinburgh, five more to Glasgow, three extra flights a week to Aberdeen and a double-daily service on the Inverness route.

MANGO
Mango has suspended its Saturday service between Johannesburg and George, replacing it with an additional Friday frequency. Flights to George have increased from six to ten frequencies. The airline flies every day except Saturday, with two flights a day on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.

SOUTH AFRICAN AIRWAYS
South African Airways (SAA) is bringing the new wide-body Airbus A350-900 onto its route between Johannesburg and JFK International Airport, New York, replacing the A340-600.
The A350 is configured with 246 economy-class seats with the first six rows offering extra leg-room. The business-class cabin has lie-flat beds.
Delivery is expected during the second half of this year and the aircraft will be operational in SAA’s branding as soon as it has met the regulatory authority requirements.

DENMARK 
From 01 July, all applications for visas to Denmark must be loaded and paid online prior to lodgement at the application centre. Once applications have been completed, travellers must print and sign the cover letter from the application website, hand in supporting documents and supply biometrics at the Visa Application Centre.
Receipt for payment must be submitted at the Danish visa application centre, VFS, when travellers submit their passports and supporting documents.
