The Last Word Kitara

The Last Word is very proud to announce a new addition to their portfolio,
The Last Word Kitara, opening on the 1st of November 2019.
The Last Word Kitara has been extensively refurbished into 6 luxury suites, each with views of the Klaserie River. The camp is remotely located in the North West corner of the Klaserie Private Nature reserve in the Greater Kruger National Park, home to the Big 5.
The camp enjoys some of the largest private traverse areas in South Africa with 5800 hectares of traverse and extensive frontage on the perennial Oliphants and Klaserie rivers.
Kitara is of gracious proportion and mostly built of beautiful stone.
The camp is laid out along a riverbank with beautiful grasses and trees that provided plenty of inspiration for the mostly neutral grey, soft green, touches of silver and other natural colours that have been brought in through textured fabrics and subtle patterns.
The camp epitomises what The Last Word has come to stand for as a brand – sanctuary, privacy, intimacy and kindness.
With this addition to the group it is now possible to explore the South African bush, beach, winelands and the city of Cape Town, all in one awesome circuit.
